    Safety Precautions: Mugwort is a strong uterine stimulant that can induce contractions and lead to a miscarriage. It should be completely avoided by pregnant women, those trying to conceive, and nursing mothers. Individuals with hypersensitivity to plants including ragweed, sunflowers, and chrysanthemums should strictly avoid mugwort.  Those sensitive to the following may also experience allergic reactions (from sneezing to anaphylaxis) when interacting with mugwort: Fennel, Birch pollen, Celery, Carrots and Anise.  Due to the high dose of Thujone, it can interfere with GABA receptors in the brain, potentially counteracting or negatively reacting with seizure or sleep medications. May inhibit liver enzymes  responsible for metabolizing drugs like Warfarin.
